Kim Kardashian has a list of boyfriends a mile long, even before she found success in the reality TV spotlight. Kardashian’s past boyfriends include A-listers from the worlds of sports, music, and modeling. Here’s a list of some of the guys who have been lucky enough to have been linked to this sexy starlet.
Almost immediately after her split from Aubry, Kardashian began publicly dating New Jersey Nets basketball player Kris Humphries. The two met while Kardashian was filming a spin-off reality series Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Despite only having been linked for a few months, rumors of Kris going ring shopping and Kim looking for New York apartments make this most recent relationship sound like a serious one.
During November and December of 2010, Kardishian had a brief but well-photographed love affair with Halle Berry’s ex, model Gabriel Aubry. Aubry joined the Kardashian-Jenner clan for Thanksgiving dinner, but Kim and Gabriel decided to continue on into the new year as friends, rather than lovers.
Kardashian began dating another pro-football player, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, in 2010. Kim and Miles met through friends while he was in L.A. and the two exchanged numbers. He even appeared in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as the new couple celebrated Fourth of July with a fireworks-worthy lip lock.
Never one to be able to escape the prying eyes of tabloid cameras, Kardashian was caught canoodling with Portugese soccer star Christiano Ronaldo in early 2010 during a break from boyfriend Reggie Bush. She visited Ronaldo in Spain and spent time at his mansion in Madrid, but the long-distance relationship ended when Kardashian got back together with Bush.
New Orlean’s Saints running back Reggie Bush pursued Kardashian after meeting her at the 2008 ESPY Awards. Kardashian credited Bush as being the main reason she was able to overcome her sex tape scandal. They split briefly in August of 2009, but quickly kissed and made up. Kardashian was by Reggie’s side when the Saints won the Superbowl in February 2010. Despite rumors of a possible engagement, Kim’s busy schedule was cited as the reason for their mutual break-up in March 2010.
Kardashian began dating another Nick, actor/rapper Nick Cannon, in late 2006. The two stepped out to parties on both coasts together for a few months, but news of Kim and Ray J’s sex tape put strain on the blossoming relationship. The two called it quits in early 2007 during the media firestorm.
Kim and Nick dated briefly in the summer of 2006. The two met met at a party for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart – the then-boyfriend of Kardashian’s BFF Paris Hilton. Lachey, former member of boyband 98 Degrees, was recently divorced from ex-wife Jessica Simpson and, according to sources at the time, Kim and Nick bonded over their mutual marriage woes. The couple split a few months later.
After her divorce, Kardashian dated R&B crooner Ray J (yep, singer Brandy’s little brother) on and off through 2006. Kim and Ray J’s relationship made tabloid headlines again in 2007 over a sex tape portraying the two engaged in some rather explicit adult activities. Kim denied the existence of the tape at all, but Vivid purchased the rights for $1 million. Kardashian sued, but ultimately settled for $5 million. Kardashian describes the entire experience as “embarrassing” and “shameful”, but Ray J’s mom points the finger at Kardashian, saying she was the one who leaked the tape. Controversial as Kim’s relationship with Ray J turned out to be, this scandal put Kardashian on the map.
Kim eloped with music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 when she was just 19 years old. According to Kardashian, Thomas became physically abusive just a few months into their marriage, and the couple ultimately divorced in 2004. The divorce papers – which leaked online during the proceedings – describe Thomas, who is ten years Kardashian’s senior – as controlling and manipulative. Thomas denied all of the accusations about any abuse of his ex-wife, and lashed out at her in the press, calling Kardashian a “fame-whore” who is willing to do anything to anyone to get what she wants. Regardless of what actually went down, it sounds like this was one four year relationship that went on for four years too long.
