Awwe man. I just finished the “candy hustle” My friends actually ran the other way when i came up with the Readers Digest Envelope with the 8 different catalogues inside. But i cut around the side n hemmed them up in the corner and got my sales. Its only fair if i buy that nasty cookie dough from them they have to buy whatever im selling. Its an unwritten office rule. lol I did all that hustlin just so my girl could get some crappy prizes that she’ll lose interest in a week after she gets it. All for the sake of getting a “great education” lol

my best friend and i always ended up eating all the candies and saving some in the freezer for later, and just telling the teacher someone jumped use .

My mom and dad used to bring all that candy stuff into their offices too. My siblings and I were crazy about placing because they would say our names over the loudspeaker. When candy selling season came around – we were like mini-sized promoters…knocking on everybody’s door, telling them why they “needed” this candy and whatnot. Ha ha. It was all such a scam, but my 3rd-grade-self loved being part of it!
