Paula Patton got a lot of attention after her performance in ‘Precious’.
Now, the actress will play a role in ‘Law & Order: SVU’. NBC says that Patton will star as assistant district attorney Mikka Von in several episodes.
Executive Producer of “SVU” Neal Baer says,
“When I saw Paula Patton give that terrific performance in the multi-Oscar-nominated ‘Precious,’ I knew she’d be perfect for SVU’s new assistant district attorney — she’s funny, warm and witty with a penchant for justice”
Patton will also star along with Angela Bassett in a comedy called, ‘Jumping the Broom’.
