It is about time. Someone finally said it! “She slapped and hit him and he then brutally fired back.” Who hit who first? Whatever happened to self-defense or is that non-existent if you are a man? I’m not condoning either of their actions; but the facts are the facts. There are many MEN in abusive relationships and get this same raw deal where one gets punished and the initiator has no consequences. It’s sad. As a black people why are so many rejoicing in tearing down a young black man. Society does that enough. He did wrong and he has to deal with the consequences but where is the justice. Technically, she should be charged also for battery but since she didn’t leave any bruises or scars/scratches then it’s not important. Battery/Assault is the same whether you are male or female and it should not matter if you got the beat down or he. They both need help.
