While there are plenty of adorable baby shoes out there, you don’t really need to invest in a pair of shoes until your little one is ready to walk outside. Once that stage hits, here’s what to look for in a good safe baby shoe…
* Look for a shoe that offers foot protection and flexibility.
* Have a professional fit your baby the first time or ask your pediatrician to measure your baby’s foot correctly during a general appointment. Shoes that are too tight or loose can cause major problems for your baby from walking difficulty to pain to blisters to falls and more. If one foot is larger than the other (common) go with a pair of shoes that fits the larger foot. This is safer than going with the smaller foot size.
